About the Team:?

The Proposal Support Centre of Excellence (CoE) empowers growth by transforming ideas into impactful proposals—delivered with precision, creativity, and purpose.

Established in 2020 with a single team member, the ?Centre of Excellence initially supported the Great Britain region by providing foundational assistance across Request for Proposal, proposals, and questionnaires.

About the Role:?

This role focuses on supporting the Natural Resources Bid Team based in the United Kingdom by producing high-quality responses for large and complex bids. Deliverables may include written reports, presentations, and other visual or digital media as required.

?Roles and Responsibilities

  • Create high-impact diagrams, illustrations, and infographics for competitive proposals and presentations, in collaboration with the Senior Desktop Publishing Specialist based in the United Kingdom.
  • Work as an integral member of the bid and proposal team to ensure all client-facing and new business documentation meets the highest standards of visual quality and professionalism.
  • Design and produce proposal graphics for both electronic and printed materials.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of professional print production requirements and effectively liaise with print vendors to communicate client specifications.
  • Convert written, numerical, and existing content into clear, engaging, and visually compelling formats.
  • Use Microsoft Office applications at an advanced level and Adobe design software to create materials suitable for tender documents, proposals, presentations, and other required media.
  • Ensure all visual elements align with Willis Towers Watson brand values and proposal deliverables.
  • Apply animations and advanced design techniques to create engaging and impactful presentations where appropriate.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Develop and maintain a library of standardized presentation templates for efficient reuse by colleagues.
  • Promote collaboration within the team and actively share best practices to continuously improve design processes.
  • Adhere strictly to corporate brand guidelines in all design outputs.
  • Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to help colleagues enhance their design capabilities.
  • Effectively prioritize workloads and communicate clearly with stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Skills:

  • Strong visual design and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders and translate verbal or written briefs into high-quality Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint, including expertise in complex animations, charts, and graphical elements.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign is desirable.
  • Demonstrated creativity and the ability to generate innovative design concepts beyond conventional approaches.
  • Expertise in creating clear and visually appealing tables, diagrams, charts, icons, and presentation templates within Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Openness to creative direction and constructive design feedback, with a consistently positive and professional attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, essential for understanding requirements and collaborating across teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure precision, consistency, and quality in all design outputs.
  • A minimum of four to five years of professional graphic design experience, including at least one to two years supporting a bid or proposal management team as a dedicated graphic designer.

Knowledge

  • Minimum 4-5 years of graphic design experience with minimum 1-2 years as part of bid/proposal management team as a dedicated/assigned graphic designer.
  • Certified graphic designer (must have)

  • MS PowerPoint

  • MS Word

  • Other design qualifications welcomed but not essential

  • Bachelor’s degree or sufficient local level qualifications to support suitability for the role

  • Any certification into Graphic Designing will be a plus

  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, with a focus on bid-related materials.
