The Requirements?

Solution Implementation & Development

  • Implement customized client solutions based on our core platform using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL components including stored procedures, views, and performance-tuned queries.
  • Build and extend web modules, APIs, integrations, and workflow components following modern development best practices.
  • Configure and deploy applications across environments including IIS and cloud-based PaaS environments.

System Integration & Architecture

  • Implement integrations with external systems using APIs, web services, and SAML-based Single Sign-On (SSO).
  • Evaluate technical feasibility, architecture considerations, and performance implications of new client requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to build scalable, maintainable implementation solutions.

Delivery & Engineering Excellence

  • Estimate effort and contribute to technical planning for implementation projects.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and design decisions to maintain engineering quality.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and validation processes to ensure reliable deployments.
  • Ensure all changes follow proper CI/CD, testing, and release management processes.

Collaboration & Problem Solving

  • Work closely with delivery, product, other technical teams and stakeholders to refine requirements and define technical solutions.
  • Act as a technical advisor during implementation, helping identify risks and proposing practical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and support high-priority client escalations when needed.

Qualifications

The Skills?

  • 7+ years?[PG1]?of experience developing and implementing enterprise web applications using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET.
  • Strong SQL Server and T-SQL expertise, including:
    • Stored procedures
    • Views
    • Query optimization
    • Performance tuning
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools.
  • Experience working with Git-based source control workflows.
  • Familiarity with Agile development environments and similar tools such as JIRA.
  • Experience deploying and supporting applications on IIS and cloud PaaS environments.
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies including JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience implementing SAML-based authentication / Single Sign-On integrations.
  • Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
  • Experience with RedGate SQL Toolkit.
  • Experience developing Windows Services or background processing systems.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting or other deployment automation tools.
  • Experience integrating with enterprise identity providers (Okta, Azure AD, etc.).
  • Experience working with SaaS platforms and multi-tenant architecture.
  • Understanding of Content Management Systems, preferably DNN (aka DotNetNuke), Sitecore, Umbraco etc.?
