The Opportunity

As part of our growing finance community in Lisbon, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to WTW’s financial operations. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of our financial reporting, while supporting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Statutory Accounts Leadership: Oversee the preparation and review of statutory financial statements, ensuring compliance with local and international reporting standards.

Audit Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and external auditors, managing timelines, documentation, and the delivery of audit materials.

Tax Support & Contribution: Collaborate closely with global and regional tax teams to provide accurate data, ensure compliance, and support tax reporting and filing activities.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a highly motivated professional with strong analytical and interpersonal skills who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You’ll be a great fit if you have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting & Taxation, or Business Administration & Management
• 4–8 years of experience in accounting
• Fluency in English (mandatory)
• Proficiency in MS Excel (mandatory), experience with Oracle (desirable)
• Experience in audit and year-end accounts closing (desirable)
• Solid understanding of US GAAP accounting standards
• The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• A proactive, organized, and process-oriented approach
• A high sense of ownership and accountability for your work
